To her parents, she was a typical 15 year old; to her friends, she was funny, inspirational, and loyal; and to her teachers, she was "a pleasure to have in class."  But in her solitude, Bailey sat before her computer and brilliantly wrote her most personal thoughts on life, love, fear, death, and life beyond.  Her poetry and prose, discovered only after her sudden and tragic death, spoke volumes of an older, kindhearted, deep thinker with the insight of a more worldly and sophisticated adult.  Her writings are an ultimate example of, and a testimony to, a short life fully lived.
